The reviews about their sales approach being aggressive is true, and given how much I like this company, I wish they'd respect the people requesting the cold calls/emails stop. The regular emails and calls were actually good for me as I needed a kick in the butt to address my HR needs, but it's not respectful to those who repeatedly expressed disinterest in their services. Respecting boundaries is important, especially for a company whose services are centered around defining employer/employee boundaries.

One aspect to note is that they have many consultants, so you may deal with a different person each time. If you opt for their $10K dedicated HR outsourcing option, this will not be an issue. Additionally, they offer access to lawyers for an additional $3K, providing unlimited legal advice as part of their package if you do not have your own legal counsel.

Overall, it has been a positive experience working with them. Keep in mind that their basic packages do not include salary research, which are billed separately. I highly recommend HRCovered Services for small businesses or non-profits that need help with basic HR support and documents for a very reasonable annual fee.
